This past winter I would notice objects, animals or whatever out in the fields, sometimes beyond walking distance, things I couldn't identify. I would hop on a quad and check it out. This was first of all, a weather permitting kinda thing because deep snow or muddy conditions or down right frigid cold were not always a smart move.
Another inconvenience was having to get dressed and leave the confines of a nice warm house for what was usually nothing.

Recently had a pretty good wind come thru and blew off two paper targets I had setup on the stand, I usually remove targets just in case such things arise, and I am particular regarding my stuff dirtying up surrounding neighbors land etc..
In a case like the missing targets,I would grab the binos to try and locate such targets, sometimes having to go upstairs to get a better view.

This past winter, I looked into the drone evolution and found some very affordable and quite efficient ones to handle this without having so much as having to open a garage door to complete my mission.

Aside from the above task, there's several uses I considered such as lost or wayward animals.livestock, the list goes on.

I can almost cover a 1/2 mile in each direction with the average allotted 15 minute battery time with full HD video or stills.
All for a couple hundred bucks.

I see lots of use for a drone, unfortunately there's a few who think it's ok to check out what other people are doing. Like the zitwit who thought it ok to film the neighbors bikini clad teen daughter sunbathing in her backyard. Then got upset & wanted restitution when her dad shot the drone w/ a shotgun. (good thing I wasn't her dad, he'd have needed Vaseline to retrieve it).
