DS not home yet

My DS I bought off the forum was shipped out on the 21st...ffl says it's not there yet...he did say that a gun he shipped to texas on the 21st just got there today so I guess there's hope....didn't even think about the holiday rush when I bought it...should have had it shipped after the new year since I won't be home till the 10th any way....I'll keep you all posted...worst case scenario is the gun is lost but at least its insured.

Keep the faith, it'll show up! As Tom Petty said, 'the waiting is the hardest part...' I recently bought a holster that came out of Texas, and my payment took over a week to get there...

You're going to love that DS, they are very smooth, and great shooting guns. My favorite snubbies.

Post some pics when you get it

Keep the faith. There's probably 4-5 horse changeouts on the stagecoach between Texas and California.

(I've had a gun in the "shipping loop" a couple times. It's nerve wracking)

My kids drove through that Friday snowstorm from Dallas to El Paso. Took 18 hours, usually takes 10. They passed all sorts of trucks in the ditch, one of them being a UPS truck wrapped around two cars; maybe your DS was on it.
 
It's probably not lost. It just takes longer this time of year. A tracking number should show where it is at. In any case it would probably arrive within the next day or two.

Do not despair, my friend :)
 
The DS is in "Loop mail"...................going round n round circling Cali looking for a place to land.....via Omaha.........LOL
 
Geeze, you guys out west sure take your sweet time--but then again you are 3 hours behind. :p I had a gun ship from my FFL in Maine via USPS to an FFL in Missouri on 12/23 and it arrived 12/27. Sorry you have to experience a delay in getting your new DS, I sure the wait will be worth it. Hoping it shows today for you.

Update!!!!
USPS shows package sorted through Dallas facility at 3;41am on the 29th....I knew things were slower in the south but 8 days to get of town?
 
Look at it this way...

It didn't end up like some Fast and Furious guns did...

Then you would never see it!
 
One more storm and it just may be the 10th of January and you'll meet up together.
