dumb 422 question

i can take everyhting out of this gun except the rear sight blade,is there someting special to this? i've turned the screw all the wat one way and all the way in reverse? stumped! any thoughts? thanks!

You have to break the assembly to take it all the way out. Unless you have the kit to fix it, better leave it alone. It is staked.
