Being from new England, I like dunkin, but found that sometimes the coffee had a burned taste. Especially noticeable since I drink it black. Lot of Tim Hortons here in NW PA, they are good too, eh.

You say you don't have an interest in doughnuts, I notice you are not an LEO. So that kind of makes sense! My wife is the daughter and step daughter of cops, she is all about doughnuts, but her self control allows only one per weekend.

I like Dunkin's coffee, but the best around here is White Castle!

They do have a good cup of coffee! Their food ain't bad either!

Dunkin Donuts had an excellent reputation for coffee over several decades. During much of that time the business model appeared to be independent franchisees (many were 'mom & pop shops' run by local entrepreneurs) sharing national brand recognition, supply chains, and advertising.

Then the trend seems to have gone more toward regional franchises, with one franchisee operating multiple stores. My observations were that quality and service went downhill. Many Dunkin shops closed down during the 1990's.

More recently I have seen newer and larger Dunkin Donuts outlets, usually in higher traffic areas (i.e.: higher costs to operate). Prices are not attractive to me anymore; just can't convince myself to stand in line to pay $5 or so for a donut and a coffee.

My wife thinks nothing about paying $5-plus for a Starbucks pseudo-coffee (caramel latte, decaf, no whip). Personally, I am happy with the local convenience store chain (Loaf-N-Jug, a Kroger company) with nice coffee kiosks, good selection of several good coffees (I particularly like Colombian Rain Forest, great dark roast with wonderful aroma and flavor), real cream (not powdered condiments), and about a buck per cup. If I take my travel mug in the counter folks who see me regularly just wave me through with no charge, especially when I have just filled up the gas tank.

I got sick of coffee. Now I drink one monster in the morning, then switch to water, or water with cherry juice.

♥♥♥ I LOVE coffee!!!!! ♥♥♥ I usually limit myself to one cup in the morning. If I have more, I have trouble sleeping. I have never had Dunkin' coffee nor a Dunkin' doughnut, but have heard good things about their coffee.

If I get coffee from a shop I go to a local one called Origin that is charity based. All workers are volunteers and 100% of the profits go towards charities and organizations that help free/support victims of sex-trafficking. They have been in operation for several years and are very successful. It is a truly a great success story and they have great coffee and tea!

Three cups of French roast coffee brewed at home in the morning. None for the rest of the day. I almost never drink restaurant coffee. But I almost never go to restaurants.

Dunkin is okay. White Castle is better. Starbucks is Chuck E. Cheese for yuppies.

I used to go to Cumberland Farms until I retired. Basic, good coffee. I make my own now and it took awhile to get it right. My wife even likes it. It tastes better than the kind you buy just before you go to work.

Don't do coffee at anyplace except home in the morning . Whole bean French roast I grind and brew with filtered water. Hot, black and strong gets things going in the morning, a second cup to take vitamins and other pills...

I do not enjoy the taste of most coffee. I drink a big cup from a stop-n'-rob in the morning to get the caffeine. I use a lot of cream.

The only coffee I can stand the taste of is Dunn Bros. cold press.

Dunkin Donuts for me when I am drinking coffee. Because of the recent diet I switched to black tea to eliminate cream and sugar. I can drink black tea but not black coffee. Occasionally I used to stop at Cumberland Farms and get one of their french vanilla lattes. Probably eight gazillion calories so haven't stopped in a while. There is one right across from Home Depot so when I was not watching my weight I tried to stop for one once a week or so.

We have a great independent donut shop in town. When I'm not in a situation where I have time for home brew, I usually get my coffee there. One day I went to my favorite coffee shop and they were closed for the day, so I went to Dunkin. While I was in getting coffee (which I didn't like), somebody keyed my brand new (like 3 days old) 2005 Pontiac GTO. Never been back since.

Home brewed whole bean French roast here. Don't like Duncan coffee. also don't like their donuts since they stopped making them in house. Today they're made centrally somewhere and delivered by tractor trailer.

McDonalds has pretty good coffee if you have to buy it instead of brewing it yourself.

We have a Cumberland Farms just down the street, I will be heading down there in a few minutes to get my coffee.

In Canada, Most people think Tim Hortons is the second coming. Personally, I prefer Country Style. I drink it black, and find that Tim's coffee tastes burnt.

Tim Hortons changed their roast a couple of years ago and rumour has it that McDonalds picked it up. I've been going there when travelling in the States, and would never have even considered White Castle for coffee. I may try them out.

For boutique coffee, I'll take Timothy's over Starbucks any day of the week. Timothy's sells a flavoured coffee called 'Noisette' that has a nice amaretto scent and the flavour doesn't require you to bury it in cream and sugar and ruin the coffee.

When I was a kid, we vacationed out in Colorado Springs. My aunt always took me to Dunkin Donuts. That was quite the treat for a kid from the sticks of Iowa. Today when my wife and I visit the big cities (Omaha and KC) we get our coffee at Dunkin; donuts at Lamars
