I've kept this all stainless rear sight body and sight blade for an early production 4" Model 66 or Model 67 in case I ever needed it for my own replacement needs to keep my 66 no dash in original configuration.

I've recently been approached regarding selling it, but I have no idea about it's value, other than these assemblies appear difficult to find.

The photo isn't very good, but the sight assembly is complete and is not damaged.

Thx!

I only have one or two and hadn’t thought of selling them. Now I’ll be interested to see what other folks tell you they’re worth.

I suspect some of the shiny SS ones were even tossed. They were miserable to use in bright sunlight. User fixable with a black Sharpie, but not all will think of that.

These natural finish stainless rear sights stopped well before the -1 revisions. Many of the No-dash revolvers came with blackened rear sights and red ramp.
I never saw a 2.5" or 6" No-dash with the natural finish stainless rear sight (when new). Just the 4" 66's & 67's. BUT, that does not mean they never did.
That said, it was not uncommon at all to have your natural finish sight changed to the blackened one.

I knew a husband-and-wife team that were frequent gun show vendors. They always had a good selection of S&W small parts, mostly still new in S&W packaging. Especially sights and blade kits. They always priced their parts in line with prices on Numrich Gun Parts.
