Easter Jeep Safari, Moab UT

Anyone else headed to Moab for the Jeep Safari next week?

Maybe we can meet up for a cheeseburger and Dr Pepper or a Perrier and tuna fish salad? or at least a howdy.

Won't be there, but I will envy you from here. When I go to Moab, it's to ride motorbikes. Splendid venue.

No, I can't make it this year. I did not sign up for vacation because I knew we were going to have a major outage at work. So now, instead of working the first week of the outage, I am pulled to work for a guy on a different unit who had shoulder surgery. Should have gone ahead at taken my vacation when I wanted to. I had the senority to go whenever I wanted. Never again!

Dick (rburg) I'm sure will be there. He might even be on his way. He will be the trail leader on "Moab Rim with a hike" next Wednesday. If you have at least 32s and one lsd or locker, it's a GREAT trail ride! It's actually my favorite run. Either that or Cliffhanger.

Hey you guys, Marshwheeling and Sven, sorry to miss you - this will be my first Safari and really looking forward to it. Only have been to Arches National Park and Dead Horse Point before, but then, if its good enough for Indiana Jones - its good enough for me.

I know one of the resident Utah HP Troopers who covers that area. I know he's NOT looking forward to it. LOL. Lots of law abiding folks who attend, but then theres that small percentage of idiots who also show up. The ones that keep LE in business.

I flew some of that area several years back in my FIL's Cessna...amazing country. Then again the entire stretch from there out to Monument Valley is a sight all Americans should experience at least once.
