Just got my MP9 & tried to change out the backstraps & its difficult on new pistols,I use a old shoelace(or string) tied at the ends,wrap around the the tool, give a turn or two of the shoelace ,hold the pistol & pull with the shoelace & it comes off easy,read some guys use pliers,screwdrivers,tabletops,this is a trick I learned to remove guitar knobs .
