wow this is bs there isnt even an official ban just a propossed ban that i really dont think congress will pass. but i mean all these companies and gun dealers have been pulling them off there shelves as if it already been approved and tats just total bs these firearms dealers and companies need to have a back bone and help in standing up to the government stepping on our second amendment. i mean assualt style weapons probably are the most of there firearms sales because people like being able to make there firearm one of a kind. im so fed up with going to gun stores and seeing them pull them off the shelves. the only people there hurting by doing this is law abiding citizens. when this ban gets shut down i for one will not shop at any of these stores that took them off the shelves early im gonna boycott them.

I'm kind of confused as to which stores you are seeing,ANYTHING gun related being taken off the shelves, that isn't being taken off by customers. In Minnesota they are buying anything that has a firing pin in it.

I don't know why anyone is surprised. Ebay isn't caving, they're anti-gun. They wouldn't even let me list unprimed cases.

Name-calling accomplishes nothing.

Just LEAVE!!

+1

That's what we did. It has been years since we listed anything from our businesses on eBay. There are too many specialty websites for firearms (like GB, Gunauction, etc.) not to mention almost everything else is cheaper and more available on amazon.com.

eBay is an aging dinosaur as far as we are concerned...

they pulled a bcg I put up.. here is their response. ***. I don't live in California or ship to cali as I put in the listing. Someone needs to tell them California law is not federal law.

You recently listed the following listing:

Smith & Wesson S&W M&P 15 Bolt Carrier Group Assembly BCG MP inspected

Unfortunately, we had to remove your listing because of the following:

You have listed a part or an accessory for an assault weapon. eBay does not permit the sale of any assault weapon-related parts or accessories. This prohibition applies to all parts and accessories related to any firearm defined as an "assault weapon" by federal or California law.

For more details on California assault weapons law, please visit Assault Weapons | State of California - Department of Justice - Kamala D. Harris Attorney General and Bureau of Firearms | State of California - Department of Justice - Kamala D. Harris Attorney General

Having a listing removed may be inconvenient and you may not be aware of this policy. However, please be aware that future removals of this kind could result in restrictions to your account activity. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation. We kindly ask that you do not relist this item.

Because of various laws and regulations on the sale of assault weapons and parts and accessories for assault weapons, we don't allow selling these items on eBay.

But you can list accessories that would fit a variety of different weapons, such as scopes, sites, and shoulder straps. If you do sell these items, you can't mention assault weapons in your listing.

Keep in mind that any listing for an item that's described as a part or an accessory for an assault weapon will be removed. Even if an item doesn't attach to an assault weapon, you still can't list it on eBay.

Here's more information on our policy:
Firearms, weapons, and knives policy

All fees related to this listing have been credited to your account. We also notified members who placed bids on the item that the listing has been canceled.

Please note: violation of this or other eBay policies may result in forfeit of eBay fees on cancelled listings, limits on account privileges and account suspension.

You can review our list of prohibited and restricted items here:

Ebay hypocrisy

They allow advertising banners all over their pages from companies selling the very items that they won't allow us to sell using their sight. Funny how my 15-22 mags can't be listed while at the same time I view ebay listings that have sponsers selling 15-22 mags and AR mags both. Hmmm

eBay is run by left wing Californians under California rules. The first thing I ever bought on eBay, late 90s, was a Ruger Vaquero. But then they went all anti-gun on us and stopped allowing those gun sales. But there are all kinds of gun parts and accessories on eBay. So, while they are clearly anti-gun, they are not totally anti-gun. It's very weird - but it's Californians, why would weird ever be a surprise?

Last time I checked, ebay was a company owned by it's shareholders, with it's own board of directors, responsible to it's shareholders. They are driven by one thing, and that is profit.
There profit, not yours or mine. I personally hope things stay that way.

It depends, or it used to, how you list them. If you list it as a 10 round magazine, no matter if it is more than that, the listing will stay. If you are honest and list the actual capacity of the magazine, then it gets pulled.

The lawyers for Kalifornistan based eBay have deemed the 15-22 an AW, so I can't sell anything for the 15-22 on there if it is named correctly. You can sell charging handles for an AR-15 but not the 15-22. Soooo stupid.
Paypal is getting in the way of sales too, so I am switching to a firearms friendly card processor.

EBay ended gun sales right after the Columbine High School shooting as I lived in Colorado at the time and I bought and sold guns up there. That said for a while they were so insecure they would even cancel you scope ad if you could see part of the rifle in the picture. Then they started loosening up and we had another school shooting and they are off to the races with stopping listings they think may get them in trouble.

Yes Paypal is owned by EBay and is not gun friendly at all.

I don't usually purchase from Ebay, but do compare prices. If you search ebay for 'picatinny' or 'gun magazines' you will get a whole raft of accessories for AR style rifles.

I live in Ca and just bought another M&P15-22 last week and lots of "evil" features to go with it. Unless I missed something in the last couple days Ca (as stupid as it is) hasn't deemed the M&P15-22 an AW yet.

We can still buy complete ARs and off list lowers here too. The big brothers just have to have a bullet button and a ten round mag.
