Ejection Issue

Thanks much for all of the input. Happy to see that the thread devolved nicely into a discussion of butt-cracks and cleavage -- I like this forum already.

My range is outdoors with large wooden shooting tables spaced roughly 3-4 feet apart. There really is no way to avoid hitting other people with brass or getting hit from time to time. I sort of figured that this guy didn't know what the heck he was talking about, but he was there with his young son and I didn't want to be a tool. He did lend me some sort of deflector that gets clamped onto the ejection port, but it didn't really work.

Anyway, what a great, fun rifle the 15-22 is. I will keep on shooting it as is!
