I have had my 15-22 for a couple weeks now and have fired about 500 rounds so far. When I looked at it today I noticed this chip and figure it was from an improperly ejected casing taking a scallop out of the port. I guess this is a downside to plastic. Has anyone heard of this happening and what, if anything should I do about it?

No marks on mine. Experiencing failures to eject with the case caught there?

Nothing you can do about it that I can think of on a Sunday morning.

I remember one FTE that caught there. I just hope this doesn't continue to happen. I'll look at the ejector today and see if it's in the right place after watching a video that someone posted about that. I didn't figure anything could be done, I was just wondering if anyone else had this happen.

I think I remember one other post a while back reporting a similar occurrence.

Ahhh bummer :( Don't know what you can do about that. Don't know if they can do anything but mabe give S&W a call and see what they say.
