Hi,

In another thread someone posted "issues" with their ejected casings flying all over the place erratically and not mostly off to the right.

Here is the link: https://smith-wessonforum.com/142110090-post19.html

In another thread some folks are talking about the ejector falling out of the gun and or having issues pressing it down in order to remove the slide.

Anyone else having ejector issues?

I didn't think about it at the time but I also experienced the ejected casings flying all over the place.

I shoot right-handed but a couple casings landed over on my left arm just below my bicep (this was yesterday at the range), and today have burn marks.

Couple of questions:

1) What ammo are you using?

2) Are you shooting outside or in a booth at an indoor range. I got dinged on the head by rounds bouncing off the booth walls last week.

HOLY GUACAMOLE!!

The last time at the range with my BG2.0, I had a casing land on my head on top of my ear muff. I got it off before it burn, but I could feel the heat. The casing were flying all over. I did not pay serious attention to it. scruffy posted here that he noticed wild ejects. I will have one of my buddies watch the casings at the next range day to see if they see anything unsual.

I shot 100 rounds of 95g Noesler FMJ, 50 of 95g Brazer FMJ, and 25 of Hornady American Gunner hollow points.

Those errant casings were not when I was shooting the last 25 rounds of the Hornady...

It was an indoor range and no one on either side of me...but very well could have ricochetted off of the right side divider wall.

Good grief guys. If you are shooting indoors and brass hits you it is a pretty good bet it hit you after coming off the side walls. Go shoot outside and tell us if the brass is still hitting you. Somebody a long time ago sold a story about how where brass ejects means something. Long story short, it does not (for the most part). If you are shooting quality, SD strength ammo, and it is ejecting and feeding, then you don't have a problem. You also don't have an impending problem. If it starts to malfunction then you have a problem. There is some crazy thinking going on here.

I was reading about accuracy on another thread. I bought one of these and somehow ended up with a few more. Two of them are shooters. Each of them will stack rounds on top of one another if I do my part. These guns are easy to shoot fast and accurate. Mainly because they fit my hand perfectly, the trigger is good, and this thing recoils like a big brother to a 22. Ie, it is a pussycat to shoot, very much like a Sig 238 which also shoots soft. Locked breech 380's are downright gentle in recoil which makes anyone shoot better and faster. (there is a reason comp guys load at the minimum power level their game allows)
