Ejector Rod For M-53

The ejector rod on the 22 LR cylinder has damaged serrations on the end. What is the interchangeability with other models and is there a good source for that part? I usually refer to Jerry K's book when doing work like this. Any other suggestions?

I have chucked them in a lathe and re knurled them if not too bad
age would make a difference as to the threads being left or right

You might check with Midway USA, I have bought them there before and they were left hand threads.

the same as any other modern K frame. The 53 did not start till 61 so they would all be left hand thread and need the same.
Plus, no other 22lr cylinder works in a model 53
