Encouraging Event: Anti-Gun Rally "Epic Fail"

"... A generous estimation of the crowd size would have been about 100 people, including members of the media."...

Now that's funny. I thought that 58% of the nation favored tighter, more draconian gun measures...

Without going into politics, I would say that for now gun control is dead. Of course every time we have a disaster like Sandy Hook the anti gun zealots use it as an excuse to trot out their various bans.

Now if we can just get some ammo in stock.

The emperor has no clothes.

Concealed carry passes everywhere but Illinois and there's no mass slaughter.

Crime goes down everywhere BUT where there are insane gun controls.

People who can't or won't protect themselves get slaughtered, while every day there are examples of people defending themselves with guns, often on video.

Gun control is rapidly reaching the "flat earth" and "twig fodder" stage.

People are FAR more concerned about their kid NEVER getting a job, and living in their basement until he's fifty, about getting blown up by a pressure cooker, or about being audited by the IRS because somebody doesn't like them speaking their minds than they are about somebody owning a gun to defend themselves, in or out of their home.

My hope is that in the future, when gun control legistation is pushed, that people will look to the fiasco of New York, Colorado, Maryland, etc. and see what a idiotic move it will be.
Then look at Chicago and how the laws prohibiting firearms have lowered their murder rate.
The anti-gunners cannot point out one success with draconian gun laws.
The lack of participation shown in the pictures warmed my heart.
Bless their little pea picking hearts.

EVERY time somebody tries to defend "universal background checks", I point out that they're UTTERLY WORTHLESS without UNIVERSAL REGISTRATION. Then I point out that Chicago's handgun BAN was implemented by BOTH making it a crime to have an "unregistered" handgun, AND FORBIDDING anyone (other than the "clouted") to register a new handgun.

People who've been there know the deal and we simply can't be silenced.

Thanks for sharing. I sent this to my shooting buddy and he got a kick out of it.

The entire band of protestors could cross the street single file and still beat the "Don't Walk" signal

Most of the "Low Information Voters" (as one of my favorite radio host calls them) have no idea what gun laws that we already have on the books today.

When asking one of these twits, what they think we need... most will state something that is already on the books. Laws that obeyed by the law abiding citizens and ignored by the miscreants who cause most of the high profile misery.

(I know because I've had these discussions. Yes, they walk amongst us and they vote.)

I think a 100 people was grossly over estimated.

I mean, 1/2 of them probably saw a crowd, something going on and had just wandered over there to check it out...

that it is even news blows my mind -- if the news media wouldn't have been there, they would have lost half of their protesters

Thanks for sharing this. No one but us will see it, because 1) it is in The Examiner and 2) it does not fit the mainstream media narrative.
