Engraving Colors??

To get the best fluorescent green look.. Do a coat of white first. It really helps make it pop.

I'd recommend that with any color you use...excellent advice, thakingcb7!...

I went to Wally World yesterday and bought several bottles of nail polish when I couldn't find what I wanted in my wife's cache. 55 year old man with a beard buying nail polish. That brought some looks. Found one Loreal that came really close to OD green. Put it on my Shield and Glock 34. Looks sweet!

You weren't brushing it on your nails to check the color were you?

no thinning, I applied till it was a puddle over the engraving and let it set till it was gelled then wiped off excess with mineral spirits and a flannel rag

I followed this video for how he did it, but I did not thin the paint it was pretty thin
