Looking to put a red dot on my Equalizer. What model Holosun did you use, and are you happy with it?

I believe Vedder holsters has one (RMR/Red dot) for the 9mm EZ.
Don’t know if frame is the same.
I carry AIWB and can use it cross draw (due to adjustment capability) with the holster outside of pants but under the belt.
Picture is my 9mm EZ.

Reflex sight is a Holosun model HS507K
Have only fired enough to zero it. So far, so good. The screws that came with it were not the correct size for the gun. I did find what I needed at a LGS. Sight comes with 2 different size screws, both metric, and the gun is not metric.

If my memory is correct they are 6/32x1/2" long. I had the slide with me and we simply matched the tread size and guessed at the length.
Haha just today I tried to put my 507k on my new equalizer and got frustrated when it became clear that the screws didn't work. Then I thought the holes on the slide might have been out of spec !
I guess it was the screws and unfortunately I don't even know where to start to find the proper set

The threads are pretty standard. Locally the Menards big box store has a good selection and several locally owned hardware stores have them. Not that hard to find. Remove the slide from the gun and remove the recoil spring and barrel and take the slide with you.

Not to butt in,,,but,,,
Holosun 507K. Really like having the choice of reticals. Small dot for target, circle, or circle dot for quick dot acquisition. Also "mandatory" to have the irons visible for back up IMHO.
The larger reticals will help make the transition from irons to
"dot" easier. I'm liking it.

As mentioned, they are #6x32x1/2", available at most hdwr stores. "Torx" heads maybe a bit hard to find, as well as Grade 8.
I used some I had on hand that are 18-8 ss Phillups head aircraft hdwr. Until I can find a decent price for grade 8 torx heads, without having to buy 50 or 100 of'em.
Nope... the Equalizer, as I understand it, will fit with an EZ holster, but not with the M&P series.

For AIWB, I like Tier 1, and JM Custom. T-Rex is also very good. Cross draw ... maybe leather? Simply Rugged maybe?

This may sound crazy but when I got my Equalizer I tried some holsters from my "holster drawer" and found that the Crossbreed OWB for my CZ P07 works great. It holds the gun perfectly and has a lot of adjustments. This holster also lies flat against my side and, with the slim profile of the Equalizer, hides very well.
