Just put a Holosun 507K GR on my EQUILIZER. Very nice! Using the circle/dot reticle, a couple of clicks up and a couple clicks right and I'm shooting center. My old eyes luv the green reticle, pick it up very fast. It's got my endorsement, for whatever that is worth.

I am looking at a red dot for my equalizer wondering how better it is then the iron sites. Also did you need a mounting plate to install it.

Just remove the plate at the rear of the slide and attach your new sight. You will need to get 2
6-32 x1/2 machine screws. The provided screws are metric.

Being where you are located. How does the green sight work out for you over the red with all the green vegetation ? Just wondering.

I too have and use a Holosun 507K GR on my EQUILIZER; the main reason I went GREEN rather than RED is that with my old eyes, I have a great deal of trouble picking up a RED Dot, while I see the GREEN one with no problem what so ever.

I replaced a RM02 red dot on a M&P CORE of ours with a Holosun green circle dot after finding the Green Fiber sights work better for me on my compound bow's HHA Optimizer Lite X single green pin sight 25 years ago . I liked green over red since .

I replaced the front sight on my old DW revolver some years back years back too a green fiber rod front sight and for a shooter with astigmatism the green Dot optics simply works better over a wide range of back grounds .

Also for the defensive carry folks , try the circle only and find it saves on battery life reduces clutter when both the circle and dot or on at short distances and works real well out to 25 yards . Remember that 32moa circle only covers 8" at 25 yards. Even 6" AR steels barely fit inside the ring and that makes hits on them easy . Save adding the 2moa dot for 40 to 50 yard shots !

I have a 6 MOA green dot EPS Carry on mine.

I have the eps carry 2 moa on my equalizer. I can shoot very good groups with it now compared to open sights. I like that I can still see a little bit of the front sight too. I’m thinking of getting another one and will probably try the 507k in green. I like the option to have the different reticles. Having both red and green dot sights, the green shows up better for most situations for my eyes.
