Escort Model 61

Does anyone know if the Escort was ever made as a pinto? I got my hands on one with a nickle frame and a blue slide.

You might have to letter that gun to find out,however it would be easy enough to combine the different frame and slide.That would be my guess.

I don't think so, but the Nickel slide would be much more difficult to obtain than a blued one. Probably a replacement. The little gun was only manufactured for three years. PM me if it is for sale.

I have an Escort 61-3 in the box, nickel with the extra mag, papers, cleaning rod, clear plastic pouch, about 99%. Interesting little guns built on the ancient Pieter Bayard 1908 model. Go figure.
