I own a 6" 24-3 that had been round butted, I really didn't want one, but for $200 I could overlook the fact that it had been molested.

I didn't build this one but could not say no to the price when I bought it! An 8 shot 38 Super on a 629-1 frame

Some people would cry over these 2! A pre17 and a 17-6, chambered in .224 Harvey K-Chuk

Richard.....'...seen this one or..........' Doubt this one, this guy was very secretive. I visited his neighbor several times over my working career (1954 to 1995) and there was never mention made of a guy in this small area who had guns. Was no place there to shoot....he must have kept 'guns' to himself. I suspect this is a 'for-hire' engraving job, good engraver here in Ohio. Wouldnt surprise me that he did the same on more than one pistol/revolver.......I will look for initials.

I never could bring myself to mutilate an original in good shape. I have no trouble putting them under the saw if already been molested by some pervert or buying someone's unfinished project gun.
Some of the Bubba Jobs I have seen should get the guys hands in vise tightened done with cheater bar.
