Even Ice-T gets it!

I'm not a big fan of Ice-T, but he just went up a big notch in my book. He was being interviewed about gun control (following the Colorado shootings) and he said he would give up his gun "when everyone else gives up theirs." He asked the reporter, "Would you like to be the only one without a gun?" He said that owning a gun is "in our Constitution," it's the last line of defending yourself, and it's not about hunting.

Ice-T is hardly some crazed right-wing Tea-partier, but he obviously understands the Second Amendment.

But he's right this time. More people need to push back against the media on this. Reading CNN.com recently is painful. I dont think I have EVER seen such anti-gun rhetoric as right now. Even the Treyvon Martin thing wasnt this bad.
