every day carry knife brand?

Smoke-

Your sheath needs polish! I don't know how long ago you were in the Army, but bet you learned about good ol' Kiwi then...

Tinker in my pocket as well as a Hogue Microswitch auto for larger duty.

Under 4" and $50... Kershaw Skyline. But while the Skylines are great knives (and I have a several of them), a US made Gerber Covert Auto is the only knife I ever carry anymore.

My EDC knife varies greatly. Sometimes, it's a 5-blade Swiss Army Knife. Sometimes it's a little Buck. Sometimes it's a yellow Case Trapper. It really varies, depending on where I'm going or what I'm doing.

I keep that sheath I guess for sentimental value. I don't like leather sheaths.

I use a Bianchi accumold generic 9 mm double stack. Magazine carrier. I also carry my Multitool in one because Gerber multi tools have a tendency to wear a hole in the bottom of the pouch that they come with. In fact if you look closely at the pouch on the right there's a small bulge from the end of the Multitool on the bottom.

My every day carry knife is s Bench Made. No idea the model. This does not fit into the OP’s request. However, prior to the BM, I carried a Leek like many others. I do not believe that one could buy a better do all knife for the money. I just wanted a shmancey knife so hence the BM. Ever lose the BM and I will be right back to the Leek.

I carry a Buck multi-tool in a belt sheath every day.
I need to have more than just a knife handy. I probably use the screw driver blades or even the retractable pliers as much or more than the cutting blade.

Buck 898 with orange handles, not very pretty but it works very well, and shaving sharp right out of the box. Orange handles do make it easy to find when dropped though. Used to always carry kershaw american made knives, they would always quit flipping open one handed after a few months of pocket carrying.

As a S&W collector I have numerous S&W knives and they seem to do whatever I need a pocket knife to do even though most of them are made in China. Since I have almost always had some brand of pocket knife in my pocket I also have numerous other brands from Buck, Swiss Army, Leatherman, Winchester, Remington. Gerber and etc. A S&W (Taylor) knife is usually what you will find in my pocket at any time.

Door Buster

Sheffield. A Menards Black Friday Special from many years ago.

This $1.99 Sheffield Knife, I was leery of because of it's non-
traditional look, but hey I thought for a Door Buster I give
it a try.

I carry it every day. It is handy. It is small. Clips to my
Jeans Right Pocket, tucked away out of the way. It holds a
very sharp edge better then other knifes I've carried.
I do not loan it out to any one for fear (you know why)
of broken tip.

I touch it up with my fine stone Lansky hinged rod Sharpener.
That's all I do, and it's razer sharp now.

Wish I would have bought many, would have made great Gifts
every so offen. Menards has the Guidesman series and has
one similar to mine, for $7.99.

Great Question, and shout out for Advice, because of so many
choices. The Best to you and your Endeavors.
