Those aren't my dogs but my Dingo is exactly the same way. He can hear a crinkle or a ziplock from across the house!

Our little guy was puking for 2 days after Thanksgiving. What he ate or who gave it to him, after being told DO NOT FEED THE DOG, is a mystery. Those Chinese made dog treats from Wally World worry me. WE took him with us for the wife's birthday dinner & a movie last night & he has better table manners than most people.

We had a Poodle and you could open a can of soda and you would get no reaction from her yet open a can of beer and she would come running, how she could tell the difference is beyond me. [emoji1]

I had a Red Wolf growing up, I got him to like the girl I eventually married by having her feed him an Oreo, every time she came over. We've been married 40 years, and I think Brutus liked he more than I do!

I've had two cats in my life, and neither begged. Indeed, the closest thing my first cat got to begging was if I forgot to give her water for a day--she would give me the "where's my water" stink eye, which was just like her "stop bugging me" stink eye, except she stuck around waiting.

Can't abide a begging animal.

My dogs follow us if we head toward the kitchen. If they hear the refrigerator open, they are at your feet sniffing. If a package rustles they are looking at you for their share. Even from a sound sleep.

My great uncle had a dog that met him and his buddies at the bar every day after work. The dog heard the whistle blow and ran to the bar and jumped in his reserved chair waiting for his bowl of beer. For a while when my uncle was on his deathbed, the dog tried to get him to go to the bar when the whistle blew.

My GSD can tell either my Jeep or my Wife's Jeep when it turns off the
blacktop at the corner about 1/2 mile away and will get up and wait at the door for us !!
