Explain Your User Name

Mine is easy to decipher: My first name - Tom and I am a professional wood turner.

After having this name for awhile it has occurred to me that more of a "shooting, gun related" screen name would have been:
Turn N Shoot. I do use that on other Forums.

Tom

I'm big, I'm old, and I'm Dave

I have a good friend named Dave who is big & old where I get some of my carburetor parts who was in the service in the 60s. He was much of a man in the 60s -70s-& 80s-Here is a photo of Daves wrecker & repo service. Don't leave your car parked close to his place very long. It will be in parts for sale. He has the thoughts of a skunk.

I have some old friends from the military, both retired E-9s--they are married to one another. She's smart cookie, multiple degrees and so forth, and a lot of fun. He's a high school grad, but smart in his own way, and my MC riding buddy.

Anyway, he's famous for making up words, ala Norm Crosby, unintentionally, and she's always giving him the old "eye-roll" when he does. For example, he thought his thyroid was in his thigh (!), if he eats too fast he gets "innergestion", if a car rolls over it "calapults"-- that's kind of stuff.

So, one night the four of us are out on a double-date, and prime steaks are what we are eating. They were very tasty!

So he says to me, "Man! you can't beat these Black Agnes steaks!"

Well now! I handle this pretty good, but his better half is guffawing fit to bust her gut, eyes rolled back into her head, and my wife, she's clueless, wondering what the hell was so damn funny.

Ever since that night, my ride has been Agnes, and my screen name:

BlackAgnes!

Tim

I used to have a lot of hair back in the 70s and it would get in my eyes quite often to the dismay of one of my baseball coaches. Pretty soon an error would have him screaming sheepdog, **** sheepdog. I still have old friends that call me that even though the hair is long gone.

Some pretender already has the handle sheepdog so I took a little liberty with the spelling.

True story.

JAG312 just could be the license plate number on a car that I saw in a movie that I really liked. Now, what was the movie, and what was the car? KAR120C is usually already taken.

I've been a manufacturer paid enforcer on a few Swiss watch forums since 2008. I chose my screen name to distant myself from my other screen name that I go under.I chose one of my favorite past times that I can think of . A relaxing time on the lake.

Widefront was taken.........:D

Nah, I'm an Inside Wireman electrician. Well, I'm licensed but haven't worked in the field for 13 years because I've been running the training program. But anyway, most Linemen call us Inside guys Narrowbacks.

My user ID is a constant reminder to slow down. I'm usually running 90 to nothing to get things done quickly and efficiently, but I'm getting older and I don't need any added stress in my life. I'm gonna die soon enough as it is, so I should slow down and enjoy the ride.
