Escaping CA to OR - soon!
I just bought a Davis Custom revolver - 6" slabsided, Aristocrat sights on a Model 65 frame. I'm looking for an extended cylinder thumblatch - not the Hogue version, but there's another shorter type with raised almost vertical ridge. I can't find the darn thing on the internet. Does anyone know the brand name?

BTW, if I did it right a photo of the gun should attach. Still a few good deals left in California. :D

You may be thinking of the Hogue SHORT cylinder release. It stick up a bit less because of its shape and has vertical ridges instead of checkered.

It's not the Hogue, didn't see it under the Power Custom page either. The one I'm looking for looks like a factory version that's been pushed from the rear, forming a distinct almost vertical edge. Like a smaller version of the "gas pedal" some competition semi shooters have on their pistols.
