Extractor question

Anyone know why on my shield the extractor has some fore and aft movement?

It should not, I suspect that the spring pin is coming apart in the middle. (I've had that happen a couple of times). Easy replacement. S&W will want you to send it back in. I have a bunch of replacements (minimum order from McMaster Carr was 25 ) Send me your address in a PM and I'll mail you a couple.
