Model 27 No Dash Mystery - Experts Please Weigh In

So, given all of the foregoing information, what would be a realistic value for this revolver?
I'm using my phone, so I'm quickly losing track of who's talking to whom here, but…Sorry Thiokol my friend. It's a treasure I just can't part with.

For Gun Relic:

Thanks so much for providing the database/sheet though. I will have to move that request for a letter from S&W up my to do list for sure. As I think I said earlier in this string, I still can't believe it survived the stupidity of my youth unscathed.

On another note, according to the database so far, I could have as low as #10 on the Mod 27/5" combo. Of course there are still missing S/Ns so I'll have to hang in there until they are accounted for.

Again, much thanks,

R

I also believe the gun has been refinished and they did their work with the side plate off. It has beveled edges around the seam and is not tight as it should be. With the modernization of the cylinder, I think it hurts the value tremendously.
I think its current value is what you paid for it.
If you like it, shoot it and enjoy it. If you don't really like it, sell it for what you can and let someone else enjoy it as a Shooter.
