I've installed several titanium cylinders in my 637-2 J-frames to lighten them up. I usually just install the extractor/ejector from the host gun in the titanium cylinder, but I recently had a rachet lug go bad in one of my ejector stars.

None of the Extractor Rods (internal left hand threads) in my parts pile have threads that are compatible with the ejector in the titanium cylinders.

Anyone know what J-frame models have compatible extractor rods?

Midway (where over time, I have purchased 7 of these cylinder assemblies) says they don't know what their provided ejector fits. It doesn't fit most of the models they say it fits. This doesn't surprise me.

The cylinders themselves are a great product. No complaints there.

A little off topic, but I’m guessing by what has been stated, you can’t put a standard length say 686 extractor rod on a titanium 396 cylinder and install it on a 696. I have been watching a group of 396 parts on fleabay, with this idea running around my head.
