So I went to Buffalo Wild Wings tonight with the family, and had some delicious chicken wings. I'm a sucker for their Blazin' wings. :D We ordered 36 wings, and I knew I should have specified that I am ordering 24 and 12 wings, because their pricing system gives incentives to order in those quantities...

Well the food was delicious, and then the bill comes, for 18, 12 and 6 wings. I bring it to the waiters attention and inform him that I will be able to leave a bigger tip if he corrects the bill to 24 and 12.

He comes back with a modified bill that is even worse (read: higher bill), billing for 24, 6 and 6. At this point, because of small children pulling at shirts and such, I just do some math and give him a 20% tip on what my bill should have been (24+12+tip). This ended up being a meagre 11% or 12% tip after his fouled-up billing.

I still feel a little bad for the guy, cause he actually made it worse for himself, adjusting it the wrong way which netted him a smaller tip. [Facepalm]

I hate to hear Buffalo Wild Wings are anti gun. I haven't been there in a while but I love their wings. The Mango Habanero are my favorites.:(

That sounds like the same kind of service we get at the one out here. Ordered an appetizer for 4, the lady brought it out and we had to ask for 4 plates to share the thing.(She looked at us like were stupid) Then, like you, get over charged and actually had to get the manager involved. Will not go back and will not recommend them to anyone.

P.S. She didn't get a tip, just a small note that the reason she didn't get the tip was her bad attitude!!

I've been to buffalo wild wings many many times with a cop buddy, neither of us have ever disarmed.....What they don't know doesn't hurt them.

Also, LEOSA covers us

BWW'S

mango habanero, Asian zing, a good beer selection, plenty of TV's and NO METAL DETECTORS, so the H*** with their sign. if the food was as good at hooters or elsewhere with a pro gun policy, I'd go there. I generally buy the bottled sauces there and make them at home, but they are not as good. if the bill comes to $10.55 and you give them a twenty AND a single, and they give you that blank stare, you know your in trouble. always gotta tell them, if you give me back ten dirty wrinkled up singles, I'm gonna smack you, lol.

There's a BWW in town. The soccer families have it in their dinner-after-games rotation. I tag along but I not a big fan. They are overpriced, only cook their burgers to 180* and I hate the "cafeteria" atmosphere; it's wayyyy too loud in there.

The Henrietta, NY store is marginal. The wings are not all that good and the sauces are 20% less spicey/hot than advertised.

There are better places to get wings, but most are local chains and vary also in quality depending on who is working.

Although I'm curious as to whether their wings are any good, I can't bring myself to go there due to their rabid anti-gun stance. Too many other places that have good wings.
I never go there for pretty much the same reason.

Here in the Cleveland area, after the gun show at the Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds, I always stop at the Oriole Cafe in Berea. They have better wings than BW3 anyway.

Last time I went to a wing place I got into a huge argument with the staff. The menu says 12 wings. and they bring me 6 wings separated (12 pieces). I'm going Where's The File ???????? The guy says that 12 means pieces-I point out the menu says wings-it don't say pieces. I get a bit loud. I get my 12 wings-as does everyone else in the place within earshot :D I'm told that it was pretty brutal there that night as word spread quickly. Last I heard they changed the menu but my wife refuses to let me go back.

I went into the BWW in San Angelo Tx a few years ago. I always liked HOT wings so when the young gal asked me how hot I said "you can't make em hot enough". My nose is still running and I haven't had a cold or the flu since. Never paid much attention to the signs since I always had a badge. BTW the acronym TIPS stands for To Insure Prompt Service

I feel your pain. Once I bought some of their "hottest of the hot" barbecue wings, thinking their idea of hot & my idea of hot would be worlds apart. Turns out it wasn't. As i brought the wing up to take a bite, the fumes from the sauce made my eyes water! I don't know what they use for heat in the barbecue sauce, but its pretty healthy.:D

I'd say that it sounds like you filed a class action law suit, but if that were the case the other customers would have got one wing each and you'd have got about 100. :D

the signs they have posted on the door at the green bay location don't hold up to wisconsin law. they must have specific type signage to comply with the law here. i assume they want to post but don't want the financial ramifications if they post properly.

I had heard that B-Dubs displayed "Victim Zone" signs but never saw any until a girl in a white dress was in the foyer of one of the local stores. With her dress as a backdrop, it was clear as day. The signs are black lettering on a clear background, the entrances are not well lit thus the signs are not "Clearly Visible" as required. I no longer go to that particular store as I have to honestly say that I seen the sign.

Stupid rules, stupid game, but I can play, too...
