According to Dr. Jinks' letter, this gun was made/engraved in 1955, to serve as an example of factory class A engraving on a K fram. It was on display in the factory showroom from 1955 until 1965, when it was removed from display and sold to Oshman's Sporting Goods of Houston, TX. According to an email from Dr. Jinks, the engraver was Harry Jarvis.
