Howdy all.
Just got the .380 bodyguard 2.0.
But about 150 round through it after an initial cleaning, but having some issues with the slide and a strange stiffness or seating issue.
If carried or manipulated in any way, I've noticed that it won't fire and the cause seems to me that the slide isn't all the way forward and it's back about 1/8 of inch or less and has to be nudged forward before it will fire.
This stickiness I thought was spring related at first but after cleaning and really playing with the bodyguard, it almost seems as if the slide is rubbing against the polymer lower in some way (like they aren't a great fit for each other) holding the slide slightly back from proper seating.
This only happens when the gun is jostled around some. When using the slide release catch or racking the slide and inserting a new round it seats just fine. Picture shows what it looks like after not seating properly. (With spring piece jutting out farther than it should)
Anyone else seeing this issue or something like it?

It appears the end cap of guide rod is protruding too far out of the end of the rod tube.
The end cap is a design flaw, in my worthless opinion. It should have been threaded instead of a compression fit with a short knurled shaft.

S&W Customer Service should send you a new one.
