I agree with the not abused, just used.

I think you are also correct in appreciating it as it is. Wish I knew its life story.

Back into the safe it goes.

In addition you can actually take it out every now and then and exercise it without having to worry about adding wear to it.

I have a 57-58 manufactured pre-29 that has some cosmetic issues. I guess I could call it giving it "character", but I like pretty guns if possible.

Comparing the 1957 finish to the 2025 finish you will be disappointed.
