I hope I have posted this in the right sub-forum

I do not reload, but for years have kept the brass from shooting sessions. Much of this was factory ammo, so it would "once fired" brass, but some of it may have been commercial reloads. Someone is interested in buying it. I don't know what to charge per case for .357 magnum. Any information I have been able to find on the internet is several years old. I don't know exactly how many cases of .357 magnum I have, but I am guessing it is in excess of 300. I will count it before pricing it

I have more .38 Special "range" brass. I would appreciate any thoughts on fair price per cartidge case of .357 magnum "range" brass, as well as .38 Special 'range" brass. At this time the .357 magnum info is more important.

Looking on Starline's website, they are selling new 357 brass for about 17 cents a case when you buy 1000. And 20 cents a case when you buy 500. So that should give you a starting point for you. For once fired brass I wouldn't give that much money. And 38 Special is priced a little lower there, but not much lower than 357 brass.

Thanks to all who have responded. The brass has just been picked up and/or saved - nothing else has been done to it to prepare for reloading - I guess it would still need to cleaned and re-sized, etc.? Like I said, I don't reload myself so I am not sure about everything in the process. I guess I need to take this into consideration. Additional input and opinions would be appreciated.

Don't expect to get top money for it if you have not done anything to clean or polish it, which is only the beginning of preparing it for reloading.

I recently got a 1000 once fired 357s in an online auction. Tne price was right at 30 dollars. Only reason I bought it was because it is nickle. It wil differentiate it from my brass 38 sp. In the same auction I bought a 1000 Factory new factory primed 30-30 cases for 35 dollars and 2000 308 military for 22.50. I gave the fellow that picked up the brass and shipped em to me the 308s...Then Karma struck 3 weeks later I got an Armalite AR-10...with 1/2 box of ammo and 10 pieces of brass

Anyone who reloads will clean and re-size as needed. I would sell as is. Unless you're putting it up for auction on Gunbroker. You'll probably get more if it's nice and shiny if selling via that route...

No, you do not have to do that. Just so it's not full of rocks or sand. Reloaders are gonna resize it.

I do not plan on putting it up for auction. Someone who reloads is interested in buying it. I am just trying to determine what would be a realistic price per case.

If they reload and may be able to do you a favor, then just give them to him. The dividends in the long run may be better than a few dollars now.

As I posted above, why guess:confused:

Type inonce fired 357 brass into your search and you will get lots of prices.
Your price should be less and also factor in shipping.
