I have two 1994 Winchester commemorative boxes of 22 Rim-
fire ammo, 250 rounds per box. One box is full, the other is
missing 16 rounds that were shot through an 1890 rifle I had
a few years ago, but sold.

What would be a fair price for a full box of 250 rounds? I sold
the Winchester 1890 rifle a while ago, and am negotiating with
a feller on another gun site on the price per box. I'm asking
$100 for both boxes plus $20.00 shipping.

I checked on GB and as usual the asking prices were high. I
found a ammo collector site that had a box for $90.00!

Any help would be appreciated.

are you referring to 22 short, 22 long, 22 long rifle or 22wrf,?
they are all 22 rim-fires !
but I am guessing since it is an 1890 rifle you are referring to the 22wrf

of the 3, 22wrf will be the most expensive and I would think,
if I had a gun chambered in the caliber
I would jump at a chance to get ammo for less than 25 cents per round for a hard to find ammo

$120.00/484= .247 cents per round, that's as cheap, if not cheaper than shooting a 22wmr
