My beard is about 40% grey, when I let it grow, which I did recently. My hair is 100% brown (knock on wood).

My beard is getting grey, but my moustache and goatee are still brown/red/black/blonde (I'm not kidding!) just like they always were. Now I've ditched the beard and kept the goat and stache. As for my ponytail, it's still brown, although I'm kind of grey around the temples.

My barber wanted to dye my white goatee and mustache so people wouldn't think I dyed my hair.

Fox tails are GREAT, but the red is a tip off for your really bright friends if you are not red-haired. Nowadays, a gray fox tail is about perfect....
