favored lubricants for revolver actions?

I like the Rem Oil too, for the action, and Hoppes 9 for wiping down the exterior. The Hoppes is a little heavier and seems to adhere to the surface better.
Rem Oil works great on folding knives too.

I am new to the forum. I also like Rem oil and Breakfree.
I started to use Brownells Action Lube Plus on my blued
revolvers and Brownells Stainless Slick on my stainless models. These seam to be very effective and " durable lubes"
They are actually very light greases. I suppose using the proper lube depends on the application.

I use Remoil myself, but recently I saw a post on another forum about ATF.:GrantCunningham.com - Library

I've never used the ATF & saw that in Grants blog a few years back..
He is without a doubt a great revolversmith & is one of the best their is on Colts & Dan Wessons..
