Favorite non-S&W every day carry (EDC) guns

I just purchased a CZ 75B to have a change from the 640 Pro. I've found out that the CZ is very easy to shoot and so far, very error free. I also discovered that 9mm ammo is so much fun to shoot!! It won't take the place of the 640 but it will give it a rest when I feel the need for a change.

Ruger LCP.

attachment.php

Small, extremely lightweight, inexpensive, and chambered in an adequate self-defense cartridge. I carry one everyday with extraordinary ease due to how small and lightweight it is. In fact, I often find myself patting my pocket to make sure that I didn't leave it behind by mistake.

Even in colder weather in which I can easily carry a larger firearm, the LCP still comes along as a BUG.

My EDC is a Ruger ED9s 9mm. I carry the flat bottom magazine in the pistol and have another mag with the hooked buttplate as a spare. If I'm out on my property during snake season, I have a third mag loaded with CCI snake shot rounds. I was really surprised, but very pleased to discover the EC9c would feed the snake shot rounds.

For a long time, it has been an LCP in my right pocket, as in almost never leave home without it. Usually have something on my belt as well, either a gen two Glock 26 (75%) or a Kimber Ultra with laser grips in .45 acp (25%). Both proven reliable.

Lately, I have been putting a lot of rounds thru a Sig P365, and its showing itself to be reliable, accurate, and it fits my hand well. Just recently took the plunge and started carrying it in preference to the Glock. More comfortable IWB.

If not a J or K frame Smith, that duty falls to a BHP enhanced by the good folks at Nighthawk.
If I can not carry one of the Smith's or the BHP I carry a Kahr MK 9.

My two non S&W carry guns are the 2.25" Ruger SP-101 and the KelTec P32. When I'm not carrying a K frame snub I'm carrying the Ruger. The P32 is a back up for the revolvers.

Taurus 38 special model 856 UL and a Bond Arms Roughneck 45 acp as backup (Target at 5 yards).Sometimes just the derringer (fits in the same size holster as the 38). Both AIWB or Pocket holster.

This little guy? Dont worry about this little guy.

Carried this midget today for a while. Was trying on clothes and this one fits in my pocket so I didnt have to take a holster off a bunch of times.

My non S&W carry has been a Gen4 Glock 19. I recently added a couple of concealable Sigs to my lineup this year, a P239 SAS and a P225 A-1, but I need more trigger time with both newbies. Until then, the Glock or my old standby, S&W 642 will do me just fine.
