Hmm........Tough question. It depends at what point in time you are asking about. First it was the K-22 then the Mdl 14, Mdl 19, a B.H.P. in 9mm (my service weapon) then the Mdl 36, the Mdl 60; Then the....Hey's what next ?
Must be ADD about Smith Revolvers, ya think ?............Then there's the Ruger MK II Competition Target (Trigger job and all) for NRA Matches....Then there is...oops out of room..........

I'd want to pick my 2-1/2 M66 no dash but the new kid on the block will push that to the curb. Earlier this year I picked up a 3" 625-4. As I shoot a revo in USPSA, reloading with moonclips causes it to come out on top.

ITEOTWAWKI.........my customized round butt 686-0 or my PC DPA 5906...both are built like tanks w/ lots of mags or speed-loaders...LOL

Yep, or the same one in blue, the Model 13, same barrel length and round butt. That's my daily carry, so that would be my choice. I have a 65 just like it, though.

PS I've found over the years that a blued revolver that's carried daily doesn't rust, and I live in a high humidity state, too, i.e., Florida, and have on occasion been caught in the rain. I just blow the dust and lint off it daily with a can of C02, every once in a while wipe it down, clean and lube it after range trips, and no rust develops.

I think rust mainly develops on guns that aren't in daily use, thus the greater need to leave them with a coat of oil and check periodically.

One exception would be blued guns with rubber grips. Moisture tends to accumulate and get trapped under them and cause rust, which is why I won't carry a handgun with rubber grips.
