FDE: Flat Dark Earth Mag's for M&P info.

Since the M&P 15/22 MOE version seems to be the hot ticket these days. I also updated my M&P to the MOE FDE version in honor of the Desert Storm Troops. S&W is sending out MOE models with FDE 25 rd mags. But we the customers out here haven't seen any place to purchase them. So I've created this blog so if you find a web site that has it, please share it with this FORUM so we can all flood the market with FDE mags.

I'm thinking S&W is having them make a min. amount before posting a SKU so we can order them from the S&W website. Still nothing there as of 11/28/11.. Share the knowledge..

Tacticool22.com manufacture a 10rd. limiter insert for the 25rd. mags. at a good price.

I'm told Brownells Alumahide II Coyote Brown spray paint is an exact match for Magpul FDE. A can will probably paint a couple dozen magazines.

Also in for this. I just picked up 3 Black magazines just to fill in for the mean time. I think I might paint them, not sure how well the paint will hold up though.

I would try this paint. I have used it on a couple of firearms and it does hold up very well and it doesnt seem to matter what surface you are painting.

You can order them directly from Smith & Wesson. My dealer ordered 5 for me and charged me $16.25 apiece. Really goes with the FDE MOE model, plus you can never have to many magazines.
