Fed Bulk Pack Price??

At wally world here in Huntington Beach CA they go for about $19 a box. Just curious if you guys in the good states get ammo cheaper or not...Looking for more excuses to move outa this state haha.

Here in La. (not LA) I buy them from Wally World for $15 and change for the 550 bulk pack.

Most places in east GA they go for $14.57 a box which is what everybody was paying a couple months ago. There are a few places I've seen them for $18.97 I believe, which seems to be the new price. Eventually all the Wally Worlds will be selling them at this price.

Same, a few months ago in WI they were $15, now $18.50. I never tried Blazer before and noticed they were $17, so bought a box and performed great. So I think I found a replacement for my Fed Bulks. Giddy up.

Around this neck of the woods ammo of all kinds is piling high in retail stores. As well, powder and primers are everywhere. Hopefully ammo prices will ease.

Just bought a few boxes in Louisiana today at $15.97, last time I bought them (about 3 weeks ago) they were $14 something....maybe we will get lucky and that will be all of a price jump we see....

Are those the 550 packs? The pricing you cite sounds more like the 375 packs (same looking box) at Walmart.

Wow great response haha. Sounds like my local stores are on par. I wish that I had done more reading before hand because I'm stuck with a box of Remington Golden bullet and it sounds like plague ammo for the 15-22. 1st wal-mart I went to thats all they had so I got it. But the other wal mart has the federal so I'ma stock up.

Before you write off Remington Golden, try it in your gun. While some folks have had problems, my 15-22 functioned flawlessly out of the box with the Remington 525 bulk pak.

I shot 150 rounds of the golden bullets without a problem. Then I read the list of ammo S&W says to avoid, so I won't shoot any more. Federal only costs a little bit more, anyway.

EDIT: It's about $18-19 for a Federal 550 box.

Illinois Walmart $18.53. Went up $3 a couple months ago. On the plus side, stock is up.

$18.97 around here. The big thing is that they now seem to have plenty and raised the limit on ammo from 6 boxes to 10.

Still not much .45 ACP, however. OK--almost never!
