Fed bulk sale

Starting tomorrow cabelas will have the blue box 525 round fed bulk on sale for 15.99. I used and entire box of them this past Sunday with out one problem. They were even cleaner than the last bulk i got a wally.

Good price, the walmarts around here sell it for 19.99, might have to make a drive out there and get another box or too. heck, my Cabelas points will get me atleast a free box haha.

My buddy bought the winchesters too, and it sucked in both our 15-22, his Remington 597, and his p22. That stuff sucks so bad its not funny.

Dept manager at my wally's said price will go up on them next year but could not tell me when. They sell the fed bulk for $18.97, and the 50pk fed champion for $1.47. Think i'm going to put a dozen or so on the card when i go to cabelas tonight.

I don't live near a Cabela's, but order most of our .22 ammo from them. We've had great results with the Federal Blue Box Bulk from Cabela's. Always arrives in excellent shape, well packaged, fresh. Works excellent in all of our .22s (SW15-22, Sig 522, 22A, P226 .22, 10/22, ....) except our Mosquito (which doesn't even like the recommended CCI Mini Mags, but works perfect with Automatch, so we get Automatch just for it). We usually get it 4200 at a time. When they run Free Shipping that helps. I like the boxes for storage (I don't keep ammo in them). Right now they have 2100 for $69.99.

Inflation, demand, minimum wage, raw material prices, cost of manufacturing. It all increased.

I think demand and the fact that people still gobble up .22 at 5 cents a round means the prices aren't going down any time soon. We saw centerfire rifle and pistol peak when sales started dying a year or so ago, and bulk online prices are starting to come down.

The Gander Mountain not far from me has the Federal Champion bulk boxes of 525 for $14.99. I will be picking up a couple of those later this week. I just went by there tonight but didn't see the ad until I got home.
