Federal Expanding FMJ

When Federal first came out with this ammo, I heard great things. They were supposed to be a huge revolution in ammo design. Does Federal still offer this ammo? It never really seemed to take off. I never heard much about it after its introduction. Anyone here have any experience (or thoughts) on this ammo.

i believe that they list the ammo.but it has not been in stock for about 6 months.the cost was about $1.00 per round...

If you search on-line you can still find people selling the Personal Defense EFMJ ammo that was packaged in the plastic 20 round boxes.

New for 2011 Federal is reintroducing their EFMJ ammo under their new "Guard Dog" label. This new ammo appears to have a nickel plated copper bullet jacket and some type of blue coloring has been added to the rubber/plastic core.
