i was wondering about this ammo - i hadn't heard much about it yet. i saw some (and bought it) for the first time the other day. it is about the same price as the federal bulk packs used to be, but now it's the cheapest federal i've seen. the wal-mart i was had had bunches of them, but they still only allowed me to purchase 6 boxes.

Those are marked 510B which is just repackaged for Walmart iirc specifically and it just 510 in disguise.

Look for some Federal AutoMatch AM22 its more expensive but shoots better in my gun.

I tried them out last week myself. The 15-22 ate them up like tik tacs.

This stuff is my favorite .22 ammo I dont know how many tens of thousands of rounds of it I've gone through over the years.Its very consistant & in everything I've shot it in, it shoots like match ammo. Gander Mtn also has it for 1.99 a box but they will match the Walmart price if you have a reciept.That way you can get more than 6 boxes.I cleaned out 2 Gander's this way.I hope to keep my 15-22 & my other .22's well fed this summer
