Considering how often new members ask for help posting pictures to a thread or post, I decided to make a short tutorial video on posting to a NEW THREAD as an attachment. Unless I get significant negative feedback, I will make other short tutorials for inserting pictures into the body of a post, etc.

Excellent presentation, personally I didn't have any problems doing this when I first joined the site but I do see many people asking how it's done.
you did good Guy.....

A most excellent idea! Well done!

Now if we could just get someone to make it a sticky (Hint Hint). Otherwise, it's just going to disappear into the depths of The Lounge as more and more threads are started, and more and more comments are added to existing threads.

Did I mention that maybe someone could make it a sticky?!?

Hi Wiregrassguy,

Excellent effort on your part, and very worthwhile.

I hope you won't take this as a negative, it isn't intended that way, rather to be informative and constructive.

The music in your video makes it very difficult for people like me to understand what you're saying. I lost almost all of my hearing at work before I turned 20. Subsequently, I don't hear any frequencies over 4,000 hertz. I'm not alone in a world of severe hearing loss sufferers, but unless you actually have this condition, it's hard to believe how much background noise (of any kind) can interfere with speech comprehension.

Thanks again for your efforts to help fellow forum members! :)

Thanks for that feedback, Dave. The music is used to make the dead dialog periods less glaring. However, I felt it had a bit too much volume. I typically "duck" the volume under the voice over so the dialog is not muddied. I'll do a better job on any new videos and revisit this one to see if I can improve it.

Clear, concise and easy to follow.
Like Rastoff said, many of us I'm sure would like to embed a full size (within reason) photo in a post. I figured out how to copy and paste my thumbnail image from the URL but the thumbnail remains.
Now about that New Age wind chime tune....

I think to paste in a larger image it's best to use one of the photo websites. I formerly used Photobucket, but that is now a dirty word here. I have used IMGUR (free, and I highly recommend it) ever since Photobucket stabbed all of their customers in the back. Once you upload a picture to IMGUR, all you need to do is to copy the image file's
