Felt like a bandit. 27-2 S 5" Nickel

The judge should sign that felony theft warrant by lunch tomorrow. I wouldn't commit any traffic violations. Try not to loose too much sleep over what you did to that poor unsuspecting shopkeeper. All ribbing aside that is truly an awesome revolver at a great price. Congratulations.

I have blue 27-2's in all the barrel lengths (well my 4" is a dash 3). Lately I have been thinning the herd and am not a real nickel fan (I have a nickel 57 and 58) but I think I need a nickel 27-2 and a 5" would be the cats pajamas. I would have singed the edge of my debit card if I had run across that gun. Good find.

That is a wonderful gun, at twice the price. And I'll bet that's what you would have paid most places: twice the price!! Beautiful. I would love to find a 3 1/2" or 4" nickle with the magnas. I prefer them to the targets, which are just too large for my hands. Magnas and a Tyler T grip fit me perfectly, though. Well, "Hope dawns eternal in the human breast", or whatever that quote is!!!

Congratulations!!

Best Regards, Les

You're right about the magnas. Magnas seem more unusual on 27-2s, they fit me better too and they have a serious business look.

What a generous and civil forum this has proven to be, year after tumultuous year. I appreciate all the kind words.

For sure.

That's a beauty ......... for sure.
$684 OTD for that package is a "no-brainer ...... for sure.
Sad to think what the pawn shop gave for that ...... for sure.
Wouldn't have been surprised to see a 1 in front of the $799.50 price tag (i.e. $1799.50) ..... maybe.

Smoking deal. Thief, thief, call the police.

There phasing out the nickel finish. Buy nickel, invest into the s&w world famous nickel finish. Blued guns will be next to go. No more bluing processes. The bluing will be epoxy paint. Stainless will be taking over.

SHHHHHH! You're going to hurt my chances on those gorgeous nickel guns! If everything is equal, I'm buying the nickel over the blue every time.

Hello Mr. Beagle, what a find! for $685 OTD. That pretty lady is screaming for a set of gorgeous Presentation Targets. Either Maple or Rosewood.
What ever your preference. Or buy a couple of different ones.
You can change them depending on her mood. Take her out for a date to the range. Great find. Best

Nice. I had to pay almost double for my nickel 5", and I didn't even get a box! Smoking deal there. Mine is a later gun with the front sight nickeled. Yours is super sweet.

First you need 3 questions answered.
1. Does it function properly?
2. Does it shoot straight?
3. Do you have a smile on your face from ear to ear?

If the answer to all 3 are Yes it doesn't matter if it is a good, great or any deal. As long as you are satisfied that is what counts. BTW I imagine you do have such a smile.

It seems to function well by inspection. I will load up some .357 in the near future. Yes, doing some serious smiling.
