Fence row weeds.

The percentage of Glyphosate in Round Up is 41%. You can buy generics with the same 41% at farm stores like Tractor supply for a lot less. One quart of concentrate will make 25 gallons of spray. I use it to spray my gravel drive and to edge around barns, sheds, and fence rows. When I'm done mowing, I'm done trimming.
Glyphosate will kill anything with Chlorophyl, it's safe around trees as long as you don't spray the leaves.
Pramitol will sterilize the ground and it is used by junk yards and commercial lots for long term vegetation kill.

Roundup is a brand name which used to have Glyphosate. You can still buy other brands that have it.
How much of a fence row?? Residential or acreage.?
Look up Brush killers, like Crossbow.

Do
you want a "green" method or chemical?

My dad swore by Cross Bow. He had an electric sprayer mounted on his 4 wheeler to keep the fence rows cleared out.

Salt ...regular old salt + water .
It will kill most weeds and ice cream salt , sprink[ed on the ground will keep them from growing back .
You can buy 40 pound sacks of water softener salts for cheap and use it to killweeds ... apply the dry salt and the rain will dissolve it slowly or mix with water and apply as a liquid .
Salt water works !

Salt worked for invading armies in the past. They would salt the ground to kill crops and starve the people they were trying to conquer into submission.
As for Glyphosate, my dad worked for Monsanto Chemical Corp most of his career as a production foreman. Basically the guy who ran the production of a particular product.
One of the departments he ran for several years produced Lasso. Lasso is the agricultural grade (stronger, more concentrated) version of Roundup.
He got cancer about 10 years after running the Lasso production department.
I'll give you 3 guesses what kind of cancer he had - and the 1st 2 guesses don't count.
He was diagnosed with non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. The exact same cancer that has been linked to using Roundup. Coincidence? Maybe, but I don't think so.

As several have noted, the agricultural/professional versions of Roundup are far different than what they sell to homeowners. That pretty much goes for all chemicals that kill green stuff. I use a couple of weed/vegetation killers but I also use chemical gloves, watch the wind and go straight to the shower/washing machine after use. I looked at using the ag stuff, but you've gotta calculate pounds of product per acre. That's more trouble than it's worth to me. One has to wonder how many users simply use "P" for plenty?

One good thing about living in the desert is that when I do use RoundUp, I'm not spraying that much of it. It is pretty nasty stuff though. Once while spraying I nailed a Black Widow with it, and the effect was immediate, thrashing convulsions like it really got into the nervous system. The only bug spray I've seen with such a dramatic effect is Raid Max Spider/Scorpion.

Reactions: CH4
Had some friends that were on a bike ride. Several mixups occurred, which left them at a gas station in California with a 5 gallon bucket of off road diesel they didn't need and couldn't take with them. When asked what they should do with it, the attendant told them, "Just pour along the fence line." Doubtful that was EPA approved, but I bet it was how they cut down on the weeds.

I hope Salt and DistilledWhite Vinegar are not linked to ... the ... C-word... I make my own pickles with that stuff ...
and they are good tasting pickles ...
