Fiber Optic sight for model 10

I've got a 10-6 HB beater that i'd like to install a fiber-optic front sight on. I know that i'll have to mill off the existing blade, just wanting to know which sight AND attachment method some of you have used before.

Milling a dovetail or drilling/tapping will be no problem. I'm a machinist, so technical terminology is welcome.

Take a look at SDM Machining's web site. Scott uses a Jack Weigand ramp with easily changeable sight blades to convert fixed front sights to something better. I think he sells all the parts on his website, or he can do the work.
