I have the stock 3 dot sights & I'm torn between the AmeriGlo Tritium sights or fiber optic sights. So my question is who has or where do they sell good fiber optic sights & what are some good brand names?

Be careful. Replacing, or even adjusting, the sights on most S&W pistols is a painful process as they are generally so tightly fitted. Do not - I repeat - DO NOT - think you can just loosen the set screw on the rear sight and move it out of the dovetail easily to replace it with you brand new sights.

Also, it is very possible to break the tritium vials on the sights by using a punch and hammering on them to get them to go in the dovetail.

That said, the easiest procedure is to send it back to S&W for installation of night sights. The best ones are probably Trijicon or Meprolight. S&W will put the slide on their really cool hydraulic press and "zip" the sights will be out and "zip" the new ones back in without any damage to the sights or the slide.

FWIW, I called S&W and asked if they could put the fiber optic front sight and warren tactical rear that they catalog on the M&P9 JG model on my M&P 45, and was told that the only sight replacement the factory will do is night sights. Then they quoted me a price of $250!

Check out the many options on Speed Shooter Specialties. Kenny is a great guy to deal with and he is a member here.

Dawson Fiber Optics are great. I used FO front
and blk adj rear. I like them. Good price, and
well made. Good Luck

To each his own... I went with truglow, good day and night. I really enjoy them.
