Not my 1st GLOCK (have a Gen 2 G17 & a Gen 4 G19 + some Gen 3 clones), but... Since I reload...
Just couldn't pass up a NEW Gen 3 Model G29 SF! Only has a 10+1 capacity, but in 10mm that ought to be sufficient unless attacked by multiple ursine predators (and we actually do have black bears strolling in the cul-de-sac upon occasion!). Discontinued production, and WHO KNOWS? Might be a collectors item some day? (Hope being used doesn't quash that pipe dream!)
No MOS, no rail, but probably is the smallest 10mm out there and really should be very easily concealable? Other than some non-plastic sights it will probably remain "box stock": possibly a Johnny Glock-style trigger bar polish once I get done practicing on the ones that come in the non-official lower parts kits? It was news to me that large and small frame GLOCKS don't actually share many components (triggers being a prime example) and that there are also quite a few variations over the different Generations as well.
Will probably post after a couple trips to the range. Anyone with prior experience with the G29 on this forum is invited to opine and is thanked in advance for so doing!
Cheers!
