Not going to be very in depth as I was suffering to a rather surprising degree from the after effects today of my first workout yesterday after a two year brake. My sons have become quite devoted to losing weight and getting into shape for the last year and I bought them a excellent used home gym last Christmas. My sons are now my personal trainers and I did chest and back yesterday and was really feeling it today at my range. Couldn't go more than one mag without muscle discomfort and shaky muscles necessitating a short brake.

The black target pasters you see are covering the 15 rounds I fired to zero the red dot.

Still managed to put 200 rounds down range, 75 at a silhouette and 125 at knock down and reset steel plates.
I actually intended to shoot more at paper targets but I was having so much fun knocking down steel plates at 15 yards I got a little carried away. I now wish I had brought along another 200 reloads.
Used the following ammo:
50 rounds of Winchester white box 115grn FMJ
50 rounds of Federal American Eagle FMJ
50 rounds of Herters 115grn FMJ
50 rounds of my reloads using 124grn FMJ load had previously chronoed at 1050fps
Used the one 15 and one 13 round mags that came with the gun as well as three 13 round magazines I bought.
Had no issues of any kind whatsoever.
Feel Iron sights are the best of any semi auto HG I own.
Mounted a Zulisy Otter Shake Awake 3 MOA RDS on it. Was a direct fit needed no adaptation plate.
I always fire any new handgun at least 500 times and use all magazines five or six times each for same.

I only had two goals for todays range session. One was just to shoot the gun make sure it functioned well and had no immediate problems and no problems with the magazines. Second goal was to confirm I liked the way the gun fit my hands and felt while I shot it as I learned from experience a HG that feels great in your hand in the store may feel awful when you shoot it.

Overall I like the gun VERY much and as long as it passes my 500 round new gun test it will become my new EDC replacing my standby 3" Gen I Shield. Next range session I will use my Gen I Shield and my 4" Walther PDP Compact and my 3.9" Sig P320 Carry as head to head comparisons to see how well the new 4" Shield plus ranks against them.

My first impressions of the Shield Plus is it is capable of very good if not outstanding accuracy.
But, it strikes me as being slightly more difficult to shoot well than my 4" Walther PDP/C as I was by second magazine with the Walther stacking rounds on one the other. I could definately do that with the Shield Plus but it took more effort and concentration on my sight hold and trigger pull VS my Walther. Make no mistake I never once made a shot at the silhouette that wouldn't have been considered a good shot as the enclosed pictures will show.

I never really noticed if the recoil impulse was any different at all whatsoever than my 4" Walther PDP/C and it certainly TO ME didn't seem the least bit harsh or to snappy just felt like normal to be expected HG recoil despite how light the Shield plus is the Walther is only 3.56oz heavier than the 4" Shield plus fully loaded with 15 rounds Federal 124 grain HST JHP ammo.

Am going to try to get back to my range this sunday and finish firing the 300 rounds left for my 500 round test and also do a comparison of my other three dedicated concealed carry handguns VS the Shield plus to see if it will become my new EDC.
