This is 200 rounds from 7-10 yards shooting my M&P 9mm. Mix of slow fire, double taps and rapid fire.

I noticed two things...ive been shooting twice in the last two weeks and it definitely is a skill that degrades without use. The other thing I was focusing on was shooting double taps well. I found if I really gripped the gun well, I got back on target much more quickly.

I would rotate through Single, Double, and Tripple Tapping in practice.
I change the number of shots around at our match. Getting in the habit of double tapping everything can be a problem when you go on auto pilot.

You are doing well. Even if you are shooting a semi auto.

A friend cautioned me similarly. Said some guys get into such a double tap habit they cant hardly just fire one round or go 1-2 or 2-1.

Im always trying to mix it up and push myself. Thanks for the encouragement.
