Well after watching this forum and debating, I finally purchased a 15-22. It was a regular black color with threaded barrel. Local shop was running 20% off for month of June and got it new for $378. I immediately painted it and started adding the folowing accessories:
UTG BP88Q bipod
Tacticool Barrel Shroud
Burris PEPR mount
Vortex Crossfire II 4-12X44MM
Hogue Grip
Magpul XTM Rail Covers
Magpul Rail Handle
Extra Mag
ALG Combat Trigger (ACT)
JP Yellow Springs
KNS Pins
Magpul STR Stock

I've shot 100 rounds so far and love this gun! I'm surprised how accurate it is. I think my bolt gun will be neglected now. I'm slowly researching what ammo works best in this gun. Federal bulk is what I've shot so far. The very first round was a ftf, then flawless.

Congrats on your purchase. Nice paint job.

I have had great luck with cci min mag ammo, but good luck finding some right now. This stuff has been very low to no stock the last year.

Chad

Thanks!! I picked up 300 round of mini mag at wal mart last week. I've been searching for more. I've bought some federal automatch, norma tac, cci standard velocity, and m22 to try this weekend.

Good golly what a rifle! I don't know much about all the additions you made, but it really looks great. The 15-22 is an outstanding rifle, it is what everyone else is trying to produce. S&W got it right and everyone else is everyone else. The CCI Mini-Mags have in my rifle been perfect. The same is true of Federal Champion. The Norma .22 LR have been perfect. It has run perfectly with Remington Golden Bullet .22 LR ammo. It is my most used and most enjoyed .22 rifle. When I take it to the range, it is the rifle other folks want to look at and shoot. Especially when shooting action targets, it is unsurpassed.

Enjoy your rifle! As far as ammo goes, keep your eyes open! Keep an eye on the links found at this forum. Here are some links that you can use to find available ammo:

Thanks for the links!! I've been hunting some cci tactical, mini mags, and wolf. I'll keep looking.

Congrats on your new lead slinger. Good looking. You got more $ on it than IN it. :)

Went and shot today after installing new trigger. The trigger doesn't reset unless I manually push it forward. It feeds/ejects fine. Is the a result of the jp yellow springs or new alg combat trigger?

Springs installed backwards ...

So take off trigger spring and flip it? Or hammer spring wrong as well?

You think you're having fun now? Wait until you get a suppressor for it!
I shot about everything in mine. Never a failure. I realize that this isn't everyone's experience though. The iron sights are fine, they work. A cheap red dot works too. I haven't put a scope on mine, because it's just not that kind of rifle for me. I've thought about it, sure...
While we enjoy the 15-22, the Marlin Original Golden with Williams peep sight is still the pinnacle.
The more rifles you have and shoot, the better...Henry Golden Boy is fun too.

The CCI MM and AT are excellent. I've never had a stoppage of any sort with this in my 15-22. Haven't found any of the Wolf, but everything I've heard or read about it is excellent. And, given the availability or lack thereof of .22 LR, it's probably a good idea to buy any .22 LR ammo you find whenever you find it as .22 LR supply for most folks is spotty at best.

Ok, I took trigger out. Here is a pic of way springs are installed. Is it wrong?

Springs look OK. Here is a good writeup with several clear pics to make sure you've got it all correct as it goes back together, in case there were any questions/confusion.

Could the jp hammer spring be the culprit? Seems I've read where lot use stock hammer spring on aftermarket trigger. I also read disconnector spring might be cause? The disconnector spring in it is jp the spring. It's slightly longer than spring that came with trigger. I feel i have it all installed correctly. Also, after about 20 rounds the trigger started reseting. Then it stopped again after another 25 rounds.

Well I took trigger out and cleaned as well as put alg disconnector spring in. I went and shot and same result. It feeds/fires perfect. Out of 50 shots, trigger reset 8 times. I just nudge it with my finger and it resets. I even tried 3 different brands of ammo with same result. Any help is appreciated. I really like this rifle, but I won't be able to keep it if this continues.
